- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We've just returned from our 4th or 5th stay here and loved it! A wonderful place for a down to earth, peaceful and clean air holiday. Loads of space for the kids to run around, gorgeous restored train carriages for the adults to stay in and bunk rooms for the kids. Kangaroos at every turn, both at the Ranch and throughout the town - day and night, and if you don't hassle them they're very well behaved. Hill End is steeped in gold mining history and a wonderful place to wander, discover and soak up the clean country air.
